The Process

CRAFTSMANSHIP, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY

The Craftsmanship of Fine art

The dedication and commitment from Quinn Wichers to create masterful works of art is second to none, and is only possible due to his relentless attention to detail. Each step of his distinct style is very exact, and through the use of state of the art new printing and framing techniques, Quinn’s photos are given a 3D look, bringing each scene to life.

“The intention of each artwork is to share with the world, the feeling I captured through my lens. Smell the salty air of the ocean, feel the cool crisp air in autumn, imagine the tranquility looking up at the milky way. Each artwork tells a story of a rare but amazing moment, that deserves to be preserved and cherished each time you look at it,” Quinn shares.

Quinn insists on using only the finest quality equipment and supplies to create his works of art. This of course is a crucial element of his distinctive style and exceptional quality, however, it is not the most important.

“You don't take a photograph, you make it,” said Ansel Adams, a world renowned landscape photographer. This sentiment by one of the greatest photographers ever still holds true today and is something that Quinn wholeheartedly believes in. “Equipment is important of course, but the true artistry lies in your ability to tell a story, and to help the viewer feel the essence of the artwork, not just see it.” Quinn states.

Anatomy of a TruLife Acrylic Print

The process of creating a TruLife acrylic print starts with Lumachrome Fine Art Paper. Archival adhesive layers are used to protect the print, while a high quality backing layer and a rear ROMA float mount frame hanging system are used to make the print both durable and solid. The final touch is the TruLife® acrylic glass. TruLife® acrylic is 99% UV protected, scratch resistant, anti-static and anti-reflective. TruLife Lumachrome fine art prints are the ultimate in luxury and truly can’t be matched. They come ready to hang without the need for an external frame. That said, if a frame is desired, we offer multiple different options.
